You deposit USDC, USDT or DAI and get HOME back. A lien (promise to repay a fixed debt) is placed on a home, registered at the county and on blockchain, then you get HOME. A loan to the homeowner is made equaling the value of the lien. When the home owner makes payments on this loan they are received by the protocol. If payments are not made the protocol has the right to sell the house and pay back HOME holders. The protocol and people involved in collecting payments get 1% and you get the rest of the payment as a reward
